Ian Bruce graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2008 with an honours degree in Podiatric Medicine. Since then he has been working as a senior podiatrist for both the NHS and in private surgeries throughout London and South West England.

Ian has an extensive knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of many different foot and lower limb complaints. Within the NHS he is a specialist in musculoskeletal pathologies and sports injuries, along with being trained to supply his clients with detailed gait analysis, orthotic prescriptions and exercise recommendations relating to the treatment of their ailments.

In the assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain Ian works extremely closely alongside rheumatology, podopaediatric and diabetes consultants. He is fully licensed for the administration of local anesthesia, corticosteroids and can carry out relatively minor foot surgery for problems such as ingrown toenails. Moreover, he can carry out electrosurgery to treat long-lasting corns and verrucae.
