
Tania Matos is a chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with a focus on sports injuries, Women’s health and persistent pain, including longstanding back and neck pain.
Tania follows a holistic approach to Physiotherapy, using different techniques such as massage, mobilisation techniques, postural correction and exercise to help manage different musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain and sports injuries.
Having graduated from King’s College London, Tania has experience working in a variety of specialties, from intensive care to neurological rehabilitation. She has also worked with a rugby team, providing first aid to players on the pitch and assisting in the management of long standing sports injuries.
She has a background in dance and physical theatre, from which she has drawn a biomechanical perspective of movement. This entails treating the body as a whole where everything thing is interconnected, including past injuries and postural habits.
